100 Women Who Care Ab out Long Island April Meeting

When you donate $100 to a charity, you often wonder if you're actually making a difference.  When 100 people donate $100 at the same time, the group accomplishes collectively what few of us could do on our own.  

A $10,000 donation can enable one of our local charities to complete a project or attain a goal that may have been out of reach.

Here is how our group works:

• We meet 4 times a year for just 1 hour each time
• Any member of the group can nominate a local charity upon joining (charities are pre-qualified prior to any meeting)
• At the meeting, 3 of the pre-qualified charities are chosen at random and, after a brief presentation by the nominating member, the members vote on which charity to suppprt
• Everyone writes a $100 check, on the spot, directly to the winning charity

After the meeting we invite everyone to socialize and network.  There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
