Starting on Friday, October 24 competing teams of design and construction professionals, college students and middle and high school students led by architects and engineers, will showcase their talent and creativity by designing and building giant self-supporting sculptures out of cans of non-perishable food to be donated to Long Island Cares, Inc.-The Harry Chapin Food Bank to feed the more than 316,000 Long Islanders that are effected by hunger and/or food insecurity.
