The 2017 Museum Ball recreates the fabulous and infamous world of Studio 54 where superstar fashion designer Halston, subject of Halston Style, the Museum's current comprehensive retrospective, held forth with his celebrity friends–Liza Minnelli, Bianca Jagger and Andy Warhol, among them. The Ball's honorary chair is Lesley Frowick, Halston's niece and heir, curator of Halston Style and author of Halston: Inventing American Fashion. The Museum's major annual fundraiser and one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the social season, the 2017 Museum Ball is co-chaired by Board President Angela Susan Anton, Board Trustee Laura Savini and Deirdre Costa Major.
