Join us for the sweetest festival in town at our Annual Watermelon Festival, August 26th & August 27th, from 10am-7pm! Cap off your summer with this fun two-day weekend event at Harbes Farm & Vineyard located at 715 Sound Ave. Mattituck NY 11952,
The whole family can participate in one of our Watermelon Eating Contests! Farmer Fred will be hosting two competitions a day. Watermelon eating contest entry is FREE. The kids will also love taking part in watermelon rolling relays and seed spitting challenges too!
Free live music will be available to enjoy in the picnic area under the shade of our old maple tree. We have Scotte Hopson lined up Saturday 12-5 pm and Rob Bruey on hand Sunday from 12-4 pm.
While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for lots of family fun. There’s our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers”, huge inflatable air pillows, a NEW Sport Zone with baseball, football and basketball tossing games, a “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities, farm animals, Singing Hayrides with Jen Kane, Pig Races and Hosted Children’s Activities with Farmer Fred throughout the day.
Harbes Wine Barn, located behind the main farm stand, is a wine lover’s oasis! In our 100 year-old renovated potato barn, we offer tastings of our award-winning wines and/or wine by the glass or bottle. There’s a rustic ambience inside or you can enjoy your wine outside under an umbrella on our patio.
There’s always lots to do and see at Harbes Farm & Vineyard so come and cool off from the dog days of summer with a big slice of fresh picked watermelon!
