Experience the unique Asian festival celebration without a flight to Asia.
The Long Island's 3rd Annual Mid-Autumn Festival will take place at the beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, the former Gold Coast estate of the W.R. Coe family, which will be filled with attractive arts and crafts booths, cultural exhibits, children's activities, pony rides, petting zoo, corporate sponsors and non-stop entertainment. There will be live entertainment throughout the festival, with an abundance of traditional dance and music ranging across many styles and genres on the main stage.
Visitors will have more fun at various booths, where they will get hand-on experience with traditional cultural activities showcase (such as traditional paper cut arts, Calligraphy, Chinese painting, Shadow Theater play, and sculpture in flour) and many festival fun games. Thousands of unique Chinese traditional handicrafts will be given away as prizes for interactive games. An assortment of ethnic treats and snacks will provided for sampling, and traditional moon cake will be sold on site as well.
