Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less. Description

The 44th Annual Family Style Duck Bar-B-Que will feature delicious food, hayrides, bouncy rides, clowns, raffles and music. Tickets are $30.00 for a duck dinner ($35.00 at the gate), $25.00 for a chicken dinner ($30.00 at the gate); both prices include admission fee. General admission is $10.00 for adults. Children 12 and under can get in for $5.00, which includes a hot dog and soda. Dinner will be served from 2-5 p.m.

At 3 p.m., the Million Dollar Duck Race begins. Approximately 7,000 rubber ducks will be available for sponsorship at $10.00 each. The million-dollar prize will go to the duck’s sponsor whose number was pre-selected before the start of the race and finishes in either first or tenth place. In the event there is no million-dollar prize winner, cash prizes will go to the top 10 finishers.

Tickets can be purchased from the camp, the Moriches Rotary Club or online at www.campduckrace.com. They can be bought before or the day of the event. Credit cards are also accepted.
