Whether you are an art collector, seek art for your home or office or merely desire to support the arts, join us on the Montauk Village Green over Memorial Day weekend for the 7th Annual Memorial Day Weekend on the Montauk Green art show. The event is Friday May 22nd thru Sunday May 24th, 2015.
Watch the Village Green blossom into an extraordinary outdoor gallery of original handmade artwork, a tapestry of spectacular creations woven from painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and more. Commission a unique piece of art made specifically for you! Learn how each artist came to their art form, how they are inspired and what materials were used in creating your piece.
The festival opens Friday May 22nd from noon to 6 pm. Saturday and Sunday the art festival is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free. Most importantly: be open to the sense of discovery and beauty in what you will experience. All artwork is for sale – so remember your purses and wallets!
