The Youth Empowerment Day is an annual, free, fun day that provides guidance, information, empowerment, and teaches our kids that they matter. It focuses on improving the lives of young people in our community as well as reassuring them that they are invaluable. We discuss topics that affect their lives from obesity, bullying, teen pregnancy, gangs, violence, to increasing their self worth, self esteem, and help them understand the importance of hard work, community service, respecting others and the importance of education.
We showcase many young upcoming talents. We give them the platform to shine. We often have some superstars that come and perform at our event.
