Description

The critically-acclaimed American Chamber Ensemble will perform its Spring Spanish Music Masterworks concert. Guest Artist will be Cuban guitarist Rene Izquierdo.

Selections will include Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez for guitar and piano, Piazzolla’s Milonga del Angel for piano. clarinet and cello and his History of Tango for guitar and cello, Danzon for piano, clarinet and cello by Paquito D'Rivera, Suite Espagnole for guitar and cello by de Falla and Carlos Surinach’s Quartet for violin, viola, cello and piano.

Performers will be pianist Blanche Abram, clarinetist Naomi Drucker and pianist Marilyn Lehman, with violinist Eriko Sato and cellist Chris Finckel.
