Dancing in The Nutcracker is a dream of many young children and teens. Ballet Long Island can make your child's dream come true. The Nutcracker is a family friendly ballet and offers several roles for children. Ballet Long Island will be holding "open auditions," or auditions that are open to the public as opposed to company members only. Rehearsals begin in September mostly on Saturday afternoons and end with performances in December. Keep in mind that being part of The Nutcracker cast is a commitment, but also an extraordinary opportunity for children to experience a live, staged performance and learn from world class teachers.
Audition Dates:
Sat June 18 - 10:00am
There is a $25 audition fee
Students should come to the dressed in proper dance attire.
Ladies should bring pointe shoes.
