Description

Building a better world begins with building a better you. The process entails what Buddhists call satori, which is instant enlightenment.  We have all experienced such “light bulb moments” many times throughout our lives.  What has been confusing suddenly becomes crystalline clear.  We all crave clarity amidst the turmoil and chaos which define the 21st Century, and we can all benefit from increased satori (that is, more light bulb moments).

Clarity comes via many channels.  Sometimes we read a short quote or quip by some well known, or even lesser known, fellow human being and we instantly “get it.”  Other times, we find ourselves repeating a phrase, a mantra, an affirmation, which at first seems like “wishful thinking” but which eventually becomes our truth.

Motivational speaker Constance Hallinan Lagan explores the power of quotations and affirmations to elicit life transformations first in ourselves and then in others, moving us all toward a building a better world.  Whether our goal is to rise in the corporate world or to down-size to a simpler lifestyle, to increase our social interactions or to appreciate silent contemplation, we can employ quotations and affirmations in our daily life to generate inspiration, spark motivation and fuel positive change. The seminar concludes with a guided visualization meditation. Call to register for this free seminar: 516-676-2130.
