The acclaimed Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble will be in concert, performing music for flute, harp and strings as part of Northport Library’s Do-Ing Music series.
Repertoire for this event will include works by Brazil’s Heitor Villa-Lobos, Spain’s Pablo de Sarasate, and Argentina’s Alberto Ginastera and Astor Piazzolla.
Performers will be Sally Shorrock, flute, Francisca Mendoza, violin, Veronica Salas, viola, Bernard Tamosaitis, cello and Karen Lindquist, harp.
