The acclaimed Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble will be in concert, performing music for flute, harp and strings, presented by The Huntington Summer Arts Festival as part of their 50th Anniversary.
Repertoire for this event will be Astor Piazzolla’s Oblivion, arr. for Canta Libre, Jean Cras’s Quintet for Harp, Flute and Strings, Marcel Grandjany’s Aria in Classic Style, Villa Lobos’ Bachianas Brasillieras No. 5, arr. for Canta Libre and Ginastera’s Impresiones de la Puna.
Performers will be Sally Shorrock, flute, Bradley Bosenbeck, violin, Veronica Salas, viola, Bernard Tamosaitis, cello and Karen Lindquist, harp.
