VIEW, a riverfront destination overlooking the Great South Bay, is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a day trip to Fire Island. On Thursday, March 17 the bar will open at 11 a.m. and a boat, destined for Fire Island, will leave VIEW at noon and return to the restaurant at 5 p.m. The celebration will continue for the Irish day revelers with complimentary corned beef and cabbage, from 5 to 7 p.m. Guinness bottles and Jameson drinks will be available for $5 each and happy hour specials will be served. The trip to Fire Island cost $25 per person.
From Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20, VIEW will serve a corned beef and cabbage special in the dining room and at the bar along with $5 Guinness bottles and Jameson drinks. On Sunday, March 20 VIEW will serve corned beef and cabbage and Irish soda bread, in addition to the weekly brunch buffet with unlimited champagne and mimosas. Cost is $35.95 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
