This session will focus on the early identification of developmental delays.
Our presenter will be Stewart Samuel, MD. Dr. Samuel is a pediatrician at the Allied Physicians Group in Plainview, NY. He is a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati and then spent four years in the US Army at Fort Knox where he served as Chief of Pediatrics, Medical Director for the Early Intervention Program, and coordinator of services for child abuse victims.
Alison Gilbert, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and a member of our community will moderate the support portion of the meeting.
The meeting will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016 from 7:30-9:00 pm in the East Hills Village Hall Lounge. Refreshments will be served.
