Scattered power outages are expected. Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. The New York theatre community will come together to present 'City of Hope: Broadway Blows Back,' a benefit concert to raise funds for New York and New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane Sandy. Sponsored by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. Performers slated to appear include Ashley Brown, Robert Creighton, Max Crumm, Eden Espinosa, Julie Halston, Dee Hoty, David Hyde Pierce, Natalie Joy Johnson, Raymond J. Lee, Carrie Manolakos, Jessie Mueller, Julia Murney, Christopher Sieber, Elizabeth Stanley and Patrick Wilson with more performers to be announced.
