The Concerts for a Cure series will kick-off with our premier musical extravaganza on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Hosted at 89 North Music Venue, 89 North Ocean Avenue, in Patchogue, NY, the event will feature many talented musicians from all over the Northeast and sure to become a high profile event with much media coverage.
This fundraiser will provide crucial support for Stony Brook Cancer Center’s ground-breaking CART-Cell Immunotherapy research initiative. CAR T-Cell Immunotherapy trains a patient’s immune system to recognize cancer cells and destroy them. It has been shown to be very effective for patients with difficult-to-treat leukemias and lymphomas.
The event will also feature special guest speaker, Dr Salman of Stony Brook Cancer Center to discuss this new breakthrough cancer treatment!! Maria Milito of Q104.3 will be emcee for the event, and many special guests will be attending!
