"Storm Watch" ...Storm watch in effect from late Sunday night through late Monday night... The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a storm watch... which is in effect from late Sunday night through late Monday night. * Winds and seas...northeast winds 40 to 45 kt with gusts up to 60 kt on ocean...35 to 40 kt with gusts to 50 kt on the nearshore waters. Seas 16 to 21 feet on the ocean...and 5 to 10 ft on Long Island Sound. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A storm watch is issued when the risk of storm force winds of 48 to 63 kt has significantly increased...but the specific timing and/or location is still uncertain. Manhasset/ Great Neck EOC (65 High Street Manhasset) In front of the building: 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Photo op is at 10:00 AM
High Street residents: bottom of High St. Manhasset…..10:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Photo op is at 10:15 AM.
Plandome Rd Side Walk Sweep: by the flag post next to the LIRR Manhasset Station: 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Photo op is at 10:30 AM.

Clean ups scheduled for Sunday 4/21:

The Girl Scouts and Ismaili Group- Community Drive to meet at the Whitney Pond Park parking lot to get supplies and go to designated cleaning spots on Community Drive @ 10:00 AM. Photo op is at also at 10:00 AM.
Planting flowers by the Girl Scouts @ The Hope Garden in the  Manhasset Train Station: 1:15p.m. Photo op is at 1:40 PM.
