Scattered power outages are expected. Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph... or gusts of 46 to 57 mph...are expected or occurring. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Retracing her musical footsteps and some of the most powerful inspirations, violinist and composer Elektra Kurtis presents pianist Benita Meshulam, duet, and a string quartet with Curtis Stewart, Alva Anderson and Akua Dixon. The program includes concertos by Bach, violin duets by Bartok, arrangements of tunes by Thelonious Monk and her own world jazz compositions.
