Painted sculptural works by award-winning New York artist Christopher Hart Chambers will be on view in a solo exhibition. These sculptures, incorporating urethane-based automotive paints, are rooted in what Chambers calls post-war “consumerist wants and dreams,” inspired by sports cars, hot rods, speed boats and even interstellar spacecraft. His design format remarks on graphic marketing systems, logos and emblems of corporate America. Works by Chambers have been seen in numerous group and solo exhibitions and are included in many public and private collections.
