Walk through the steps of brewing beer from the first stage of growing the grain all the way through drinking it. Each participant over the age of 21 will get a free pint and some other beers to sample.
Offered twice- start times are 11 am and 1:30 p.m.
11 am/ 1:30 pm - Hayride to the grain and hop growing field
11:30/ 2:00 pm –Discussion on grain being sprouted, dried and malted
11:45/ 2:15 pm - in depth on How to malt-
12:15/ 2:45 – Brewing the beer – from mashing to wort to fermentation to beer
12:45/3:15 - Kegging- This is where you start tasting
1:00 p.m./ 3:45 - Finish - open Q and A.
