Those who know the North Fork know the Hellenic Snack Bar and Restaurant in East Marion. It is a part of the North Fork's story. George Giannaris is "the son of a man who created a landmark restaurant in the middle of nowhere". Today he is the owner and manager of the busy establishment.
Join us for an evening of fun short stories of life behind the scenes of a busy restaurant while we celebrate his second memoir, "Ferry Tales II: When Hellenic Freezes Over".
George is brin...ging four Greek wines to pair with some artisinal cheeses and charcuterie at the shop. Come laugh, sip and nibble with us at a true North Fork event.
Tickets are $45 and include a signed copy of Ferry Tales II: When Hellenic Freezes Over. Also included, four tastings of some of George's favorite Greek wines that will be thoughtfully paired with cheeses and charcuterie by Michael Affatato of The Village Cheese Shop.
Purchase tickets by calling or dropping in to the shop. Advance purchase is highly recommended as this is an intimate event with limited seating.
