On February 4th Southside Hospital and Gavin’s Got Heart have partnered to create the B.E.A.T. Program. This program offers Heart Health Screenings and CPR/AED training for students in grades 9‐12. Parents must be present throughout the event for screening and physician consolations.
These screenings will cover:
Blood Pressure
BMI
Blood Cholesterol
Blood Glucose
EKG
Educational Opportunities:
Learn about cardiac risk factors
“Hands Only” CPR training
AED training
