South Bay Bible Church is celebrating Friend Sunday on June 11 at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. with a free coffee, bagels, and doughnuts before and after each service.
These special services will launch a new teaching series designed to help people pursue peace in difficult relationships entitled Bad Blood. The quality of our lives is only as good as the quality of our relationships because bad blood in any relationship will rob you of peace in your own life. Since all relationships have moments when they have to be guided back to a good place, it's important to discover how to find and maintain peace in our friendships.
“Bad Blood: Pursuing Peace in Difficult Relationships, starting on Friend Sunday, helps people discover the secrets in dealing with difficult relationships,” said Martin Hawley, senior pastor.
South Bay Bible Church is just one of hundreds of churches across the nation honoring friendships and relationships through this special Friend Sunday event. The service is designed to give current church attendees a meaningful reason to invite their friends and family and to provide the opportunity for churches to share the many ways they can build community and create opportunities for friendships on an ongoing basis.
