From Shore to Shore continues to travel around Long Island. From April 18 – September 19, the exhibit will dock at the Suffolk County Historical Society. Throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Long Island and Westchester were home to many boatbuilders, ranging from traditional builders such as Gil Smith of Patchogue to the thirty-five modern-day builders featured in this exhibit. Also on display will be a Maritime Painting Exhibition curated by the J. Russell Jinishian Gallery. Join us for this celebration of our region's great tradition of boatbuilding!
