Girls Inc. of Long Island’s Fun with DNA 2015 Summer Camp

An exciting course in DNA science!

Brookhaven National Laboratory August 3rd—August 7th
9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Girls in grades 6-8

Registration is $100 *Limited Scholarships Available*

Registration begins April 15, 2015 at www.girlsincli.org under “Events”

Free Transportation available from the following communities:
Central Islip, Patchogue, and Riverhead

 

Learn to:

Construct cells and DNA models.

Extract DNA from human and plan cells.

Use Compound microscopes to view cells.

Use stereo microscopes to observe mutations in fruit flies.

Study genetically engineer bacteria cells with fireflies genes.
