This workshop introduces girls to the cutting-edge breakthroughs in engineering. Girls will explore the capture, transmission, and storage of renewable energy. Through a series of hands-on experiments students will: expand their understanding of current renewable energy innovations by touring B.N.L.’s cutting edge facilities and meeting research staff, gain and understanding of renewable energies such as Bio fuel and Solar through hands on activities, and experiment with energy transmission and methods of energy storage. Girls entering grades 7-9 are eligible to participate. Join us for a science-filled, fun packed week! Transportation included.
