Description

 

The Southampton Youth Bureau in collaboration with Southampton Senior Services continues to offer a support group for grandparents who are raising children. The group was created to lend support for those raising children a second time around. Topics discussed include: Parenting Strategies, Engaging Kids, Custodial Rights, Financial Compensation, Health Care, and dealing with difficult issues such as drug use. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month in the Hampton Bays Community Center. Child care is free and provided by a qualified youth care worker.
