Great Neck Plaza BID Summer Promenade Night

The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) and the Village of Great Neck Plaza will host the next Promenade Night of the season on Thursday, July 30. Taking place on Bond Street from 6:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m., all residents from Great Neck and the surrounding communities are encouraged to join us for live entertainment and al fresco dining at Great Neck Plaza’s finest restaurants.

“Promenade Nights offer a great opportunity for local residents to connect with their community over delicious food and live entertainment,” said Ron Edelson, Great Neck Plaza BID Executive Director. “Our Promenade Nights are a perfect summer activity for families, couples or a group of friends.”

Each participating restaurant, including Bee-Organic, Era, La Rotonda, Elaine’s Asian Bistro and Great Neck Diner will be offering prix fixe menus or discounted dishes. In addition, Akbar the caricaturist will be returning, offering promenade guests free caricatures on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entertainment will feature Nina Et Cetera (https://sites.google.com/site/ninaetcetera/). The band, varying between a duo, trio or quartet, features original songs and original takes on classic songs from artists like Elvis, Bo Diddley, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and many more. Front woman, Nina, and bass player, Tim, have been playing music together for over 21 years. Nina studied at Berklee College of Music.

The friendly atmosphere of Great Neck Plaza is the perfect setting to enjoy the best dining and shopping throughout the summer. All stores in Great Neck Plaza are within walking distance of the LIRR's Great Neck train station, and the Plaza features more than 1,600 convenient parking spaces on-street and in municipal parking fields and garages.
