Description

Peconic Community School announces the fifth annual GROW: Spring Fundraiser & Community Picnic, a family-friendly event like no other on the North Fork. This special event will feature music by Grammy nominated children’s musician Brady Rymer and musical partner Claudia Glaser Mussen, ice cream from Joe & Liza’s, face-painting, crafts, drumming and more!  The event will take place on Saturday, May 28th from 12pm-3pm at Hallockville Museum Farm’s historic Naugles Barn, Sound Avenue Jamesport.  Tickets are $20 in advance or at the door for adults and free for children.

All of the funds raised at GROW support Peconic Community School, located in Aquebogue in the heart of the East End, which is the only school of its kind in the area. Now in its fourth year of operation, PCS is an alternative, accessible educational option, providing children with a challenging and enriching education that is project-based, integrated, and community-focused. The school currently offers programs for early childhood through sixth grade. They are chartered by the New York State Education Department.
