This summer is going to rock, dance, Zumba and roll at the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook’s Culture Connection, a series of free music, dance and theater events for guests and the public at large.
In July and August, the hotel will feature free performances on the lawn outside the hotel for guests and non-guests alike who want to experience a bit of what Long Island has to offer in the form of entertainment under the stars.
There will be concerts, car shows Zumba instruction, shopping opportunities and exhibits of Reptiles. All you have to do is bring your own lawn chair.
HIE Stony Brook wants to show its guests and community members the wealth of talent Long Island has to offer, said Tanya Lee, the hotel’s promotions, marketing and sales development manager.
“Long Island has so much talent and we are so proud to serve as the venue to showcase what is right here in Nassau and Suffolk County,” said Lee. “We hope that after seeing the performances, people will want to further explore what Long Island has to offer in the areas of culture and entertainment.”
On July 18, the hotel will offer a ‘50s Concert & Car Show, featuring Frankie Falabella, Donna Dean, and Tim Hanle
All events begin at 6 PM and continue until 8:30 P
