The irresistible sounds of TANGO will fill the Nimoy Thalia when superb musiciansPOLLY FERMAN, classical concert accordionist SIR N. ANTONIO PERUCH, and theVAUGHAN STRING QUARTET perform 'HOMAGE TO TANGO,' featuring tangos by Astor Piazzolla and Daniel Binelli, Friday May 22 at 7 PM. Hailing from Brazil, Uruguay, and Italy, the performers represent years of dedication and expertise in the music of Tango. Both Sir N. Antonio Peruch, and the Canada-based Vaughan String Quartet, whose members hail originally from Brazil and Italy, will be making their New York debuts.

The evening will also launch two CDs by Sir Antonio recorded with Polly Ferman and the Camerata Romeu string orchestra conducted by Zenaida Romeu.
CDs are Loving: The Tangos of Astor Piazzolla and Homage to Tango: The Music of Daniel Binelli, the first recording completely dedicated to the compositions of Daniel Binelli, famed bandoneonist/composer, former member of Astor Piazzolla's orchestra.
