When you hear the word “rich,” what are the first things that come to your mind? On Sunday, January 1, at 9 & 11 a.m., just in time for the New Year, South Bay Bible Church will begin a brand-new, four-part series entitled, “How to Be Rich.”
Most of us are richer than we believe, but we might think, rich is the other guy. Rich is having more than we currently have. If that’s the case, we can be rich and not know or feel it. We can be rich and not act like it. And that’s the problem. In this four-part series, Pastor Hawley will encourage you to not just be rich, but he will help you learn to be good at it!
“It’s not what you have. It’s what you do with what you have,” says Martin Hawley, senior pastor.
In this four-part series, Pastor Hawley will cover the following messages:
• Congratulations (January 1): You're rich! You just don't feel like it.
• Side Effects (January 8): Don't trust in riches but in Him who richly provides.
• Dollar Cost Living (January 15): If God has blessed you with more than you need, it is so that you can share your abundance with those in need.
• Diversify (January 22): Viewing wealth through the lens of eternity loosens our grip on it, which loosens its grip on our hearts.
