Cathleen Chafee, Ph.D., the initial curator for Yale University Art Gallery’s traveling exhibition, Still Life: 1970s Photorealism, now on view at the museum, discusses the paintings, sculpture and prints included in the exhibition and places this important art movement in the context of critical and audience reception of the time.
