The health fair will be conducted by Nassau University Medical Center and Long Island Federally Qualified Health Centers. The following free screenings will be provided:
• Breast Cancer screening and mammogram- no appointments necessary- walk in and get it done
• Blood Pressure Check/ Weight screening
• Doctor and Nurses will provide educational information on Heart Attack, Stroke Prevention, Women’s Health, Colon cancer screening programs, Hepatitis treatments, Mental Health, Asthma, Travel Immunizations, Vaccinations, Cholesterol, Diabetes, Men’s Health, Vision care, Trauma Prevention, Dental Health and Children’s Health
• Information on Advance care planning Medicaid, Medicare, Child Health Plus and other affordable health insurance information will be provided
