Julia was raised on a farm in Eastern Long Island. She developed a true sense of self from a very young age spending a lot of time alone and with siblings while her parents worked long hours tending to the farm. Miss King was fiercely independent and driven to express herself through song so she quickly learned a few chords on a guitar that was given to her by her Great Aunt. In High School she began writing songs but her passion and skill for that exploded in College. Through every adventure, heartbreak, success, and failure Miss King has a way of capturing the raw emotion of a situation. Each song is an exposed nerve for her and each time you hear them you too will be able to connect and appreciate the realness of each story.
