The Kings Park School District in conjunction with Kings Park in the know, will host its annual preventing destructive decisions forum on March 4 at 7:00 pm. The event will be held at the William T. Rogers Middle School at 97 Old Dock Rd. Kings Park resident, Linda Ventura, whose son graduated from Kings Park High School and died at age 21 from his addiction to heroin, will be one of the featured speakers. Kym Laube, executive director of HUGS, is a leading expert in addiction prevention will address underage drinking and how it relates to addiction, including opiates and heroin.There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.
