The Moonlighters – Jeff Mucciolo and Valerie Sauer – are an acoustic duet project born from The Moonshine Band inspired by Classic Rock/Rock music. Music has been an integral part of Jeff Mucciolo’s entire life. He has performed in various bands for over 20 years from Sour Mash to a very successful Pink Floyd tribute band called Echoes to The Moonshine Band which he has been a part of for 16 years.
Jeff met Valerie over two years ago at Karaoke night at a local dive bar. Once he heard her sing, he knew she was what The Moonshine Band had been missing all along. They have become an amazing musical team. “We do this because we love it and will continue to reach new audiences and follow this amazing journey we call music…”
The Moonshine Band and The Moonlighters can regularly be seen performing at Prime in Huntington, The Wine Cellar in Northport, Park Lounge and Shanahans in Kings Park. Jeff is originally from East Northport and Valerie is originally from Northport.
