Description

St. James, NY 7/8/14 -  On June 28th, The MMA Platinum Gloves had its best turnout, crowd wise, as 700 excited fans filled up the Sports Arena in St. James. The night featured 11 fights, including Fight of the Night between heavyweights Dan Diaz (1-0), of Staten Island, NY and Isaiah Rosado (0-1) of Brooklyn, NY. Both fighters exchanged blows throughout the action packed fight, but it was a Diaz right hand that ended it in the 2nd round.

Another Fight of the Night candidate was the match between Bellmore Kickboxing's Paul Geraci (2-0) and Vollasign Entertainment's Victor Robinson (2-3). Robinson secured an early takedown and was able to land some blows in the firts round but it was Geraci's BJJ that ultimately got him the submission win. All 11 fights can be viewed on Vimeo On Demand at https://vimeo.com/ondemand/mmaplatinumgloves5.
