Swimmer check-in and same-day registration opens at 5:30 a.m. at the Ditch Plains Beach parking lot. 

The Montauk Ocean Swim Challenge is organized by the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad.

Proceeds from the Montauk Ocean Swim benefit the future Aquatics Center at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center.
