Description

(mostly) TRUE THINGS, a monthly storytelling show that features true stories - with a twist - told live, without notes by people from all walks of life, ages and backgrounds.

This show has music and comedy combined with compelling, captivating stories of true experiences as well as a game that involves the audience. All the stories except one include carefully-crafted deceptions or “little white lies.”

The audience has an opportunity to question the storytellers, then vote for the person who told the unvarnished truth. Audience members who choose the correct person get a prize.

Stories in this performance by:
Tracey Lynn Segarra, Moth Grand Slam winner and featured storyteller all over New York
Mel Dockery, Moth winner and featured storyteller on The Moth podcast Sept 10, 2013 with her story "Cannot Tell A Lie"
Jamie Cummings, BA, actor writer, director, who teaches improv for The Pit in NYC, has performed off-Broadway, and on the Pit house team Borealis and the musical improv team Hello.

Host/creator Jude Treder-Wolff is a writer/performer, singer and creative arts psychotherapist who has been featured on the RISK! podcast and live show, Talk Therapy and Prose Of Pie storytelling shows, and told stories at The Moth.
