Music & Memory is a non-profit organization that connects music with long term memory. Our new Music & Memory service offers customized music on iPod shuffles for eligible individuals as a source of comfort and an effort to connect with past memories. These shuffles are tailored to the individual’s personal musical preferences and are available for loan. Please join us at the library to celebrate the launch of this new service with a viewing of the film featuring the phenomenon of Music & Memory entitled “Alive Inside.” Light refreshments will be served. Anyone may attend, but only Connetquot Public Library cardholders may request an iPod Shuffle.
