"The Life of the Civil War Soldier"
A New Exhibit at the North Shore Historical Museum in Glen Cove
April marks 150 years from the end of the Civil War with General Robt. E. Lee's surrender of the Confederate Army at Appomattox Courthouse in April 1865. The North Shore Historical Museum is proud to commemorate this event with an exhibition of artifacts and memorabilia of the Civil War soldiers.
The exhibit "The Life of the Civil War Soldier" officially opens on April 18th, however you can preview this exhibit at an opening reception on Friday, April 17th from 7 pm. Refreshments will be served.

The North Shore Historical Museum is open on Wednesdays from 2 to 6 pm, and on Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm.
