Frank Ohman's New York Dance Theatre celebrates its 35th anniversary season presenting Long Island's largest Nutcracker production at Hofstra University on Dec. 17 & 18, 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. both days. Special guest artists Alicia Holloway and DaVon Doane of the Dance Theatre of Harlem will perform the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. Several other NYC artists will join Ohman's troup in bringing this classic holiday story ballet to life on the stage of the newly renovated John Cranford Adams Playhouse.

From the festive Christmas Party Scene to the Battle of toy soldiers and giant mice, to the elegant snow storm scene, to the brilliant dancing in the Land of the Sweets, The Nutcracker appeals to all ages.
