Our South Shore's marshlands are dotted with a historic collection of bay houses that generations of baymen have used as base camps for clamming, fishing, and hunting. Author Nancy Solomon will discuss the historical significance of these bay houses, how they were used by baymen, and the process of building and maintaining the unique structures.
