Concerts by the Pond, a concert series at St. John's Church in Cold Spring Harbor, begins its third season with an organ recital by Dr. Carol Weitner on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 3 pm. The program will include works by Bach, Boehm, Franck, Mulet, and others, and will showcase the the thrilling sounds of the church's Casavant organ--from the beautiful and delicate flutes to the power and majesty of the trumpets and full organ ensemble. A reception will follow.
