Snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches and a few hundredths of an inch of ice across southern portions of the New York City and New Jersey metropolitan areas and southeastern portions of Long Island and coastal Connecticut. * Winds...northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * Temperatures...in the upper 20s to lower 30s. * Visibilities...one quarter mile or less at times. * Timing...late Sunday night through Monday. * Impacts...hazardous travel due to reduced visibilities and significant snow...sleet and ice accumulations. WALK ON NOVEMBER 3, 2013  TO BENEFIT

THE AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION

Every 14 minutes someone in the U.S. dies by suicide. Take steps to help save lives!

Support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention by participating in the Long Island Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Sunday, November 3rd in Old Westbury Gardens.  Proceeds will benefit local and national suicide prevention education,  awareness and advocacy programs.  Registration will be held at Old Westbury Gardens beginning at 9:00 a.m. The walk will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.  Refreshments, music, and so much more!
