In celebration of the Museum’s 25th anniversary, we are presenting Out of the Vault: 25 Years of Collecting, our first comprehensive exhibition of works from the permanent collection. This presentation highlights patrons’ numerous gifts to the Museum over the last quarter century that have never, or rarely, been exhibited. Each gallery space will focus on a different theme, such as: past and present portraiture, great traditions in paintings, post-war prints and vintage posters from many eras. The exhibit explores a diverse range of artists who are strongly represented in the Museum’s collections, among them naturalist John James Audubon, photographer Larry Fink, and Pop art icons Marisol Escobar, Robert Indiana and Larry Rivers, among others.
