This original exhibition features works by artists such as Marilyn Bridges, Margie Caggiano, Janet Culbertson, Louis Lozowick, Charles Henry Miller, Andy Warhol, and Lumen Winter. The focus of the exhibition is the transformation of Long Island over the decades, brought about by the construction of bridges, tunnels and roadways that provide direct routes to New York City. Issues addressed include the planning and development of suburbia, the long-term impacts on the environment, and contemporary challenges. Planning documents and archival photographs are also included.
