Take advantage of a special weekend opportunity to apply for your passport on Saturday, May 13th at Hempstead Town Hall. All United States citizens, including children of any age, must present a valid passport in their own name to enter or reenter the United States by air, land or sea. Certified, original documentation (proof of citizenship and proof of identification) and color photographs are required to obtain a U.S. Passport. The Passport Office can take the necessary photographs for your passport application for a $10.00 (ten dollar) fee payable by cash, check or money order. Passport fees are set by federal guidelines and vary depending upon the type of passport (new or renewal) and age of the applicant. Only separate checks or money orders will be accepted per application. Fees are collected at the time of application.
